Residential Care Homes: Name Labels For Nursing Homes & Residential Care Facilities
Name labels are a wonderfully simple way to label items belonging to residents of nursing homes and residential care facilities.
Keep Items Safe In Shared Environments With Stikins ® Name Labels
Like schools, nursing homes and residential care homes rely on the use of shared spaces where items can go missing or get mixed up. Stick on name labels are a simple way to label belongings so the owner can be identified in a moment.
Nursing homes and residential care homes often have communal spaces where personal belongings may be put down and forgotten about. Likewise, clothing and bedding are washed in communal laundries, which makes it easy for items to get mixed up.
Losing personal belongings can be a distressing experience for anyone but lost property in care facilities can cause great emotional distress to residents and their family / friends as well as wasting the time of members of staff – who have far more important things to do than spend time trying to track down the owner of lost items.
With Stikins ® labels, clothing and fabric items, along with personal belongings, can be safely and securely labelled with their owner’s name (and room number) so items can be returned to their rightful owner.
Label Everything With Stikins ® Labels – Stick On Name Labels That Simply Stick On And Stay On
Stikins ® labels are stick on name labels made with a unique adhesive; this allows them to stick successfully onto clothing and fabric items, as well as all kinds of personal items. Our name labels are white with a bold, black font to make the text as easy to read as possible. Stikins ® name labels measure 30mm wide by 15mm high. This means they are discrete but also provide plenty of room for a resident’s name and room number. The material is extremely flexible and soft, so it won't cause irritation to the skin when labelled clothes are worn.
Stikins ® labels were independently tested using the BS EN ISO6330 wash test procedure for 60 washes at 40 degrees. They can be put through washing machines, tumble dryers, dishwashers, microwaves, and the kitchen sink.
They are also really easy to apply. Stick each label onto an item press down firmyl to ensure the adhesive fully bonds with your item. When labelling clothing or fabric items, apply your labels onto the wash-care label and not directly onto the fabric. Place them onto the side wall or beneath the tongue of shoes. Do not apply them directly beneath the heel as this will cause the print to wear away.
You can use our name labels to label all sorts of personal items including shoes, slippers, books, photo albums, glasses cases (and glasses!), medical equipment, pill boxes, inhalers, walking sticks, and any personal belongings of significant emotional value.
